Hello,
Just a quick gmail question.
I went to delete some contacts, but couldn't find the delete link or button after I had checked them.
I was in basic HTML mode. could this have affected something?
If so, how do you revert to regular mode?
Thanks in advance.

James,
Gmail accessibility is really little. What you can do (and the only thing most likely) is to use the mouse simulation in your screen reader to go into the regular mode, hit contacts, select the ones you want then delete them. It is more tedious than trying to find a needle in a hay stack but it is the only way. Gmail needs to improve as far as the functions you can perform on it. The webpage is absolutely readable but there are things like the need to access the settings in normal view... so much for the eye candy.

I use GMail solely for the copious server space you're given. All contacts are handled in my everyday mailer, which I could link to GMail using pop3--though I find the web interface sufficient for my needs. I would also suggest setting things up to allow for the altering of 'from' or 'reply to' headers as needed for the different accounts.
